I need to move over to beaked point chods but the company I use don't do them.
Any recommendations please,must be strong in the gauge as my water is very weedy

I got some Thinking Anglers ones the other day and really like them.
Got the hand sharpened ones, not sure what they are like as standard

Seem strong? Not a crazy heavy gague tho

Have a look at the Bank Tackle chod hooks, they look quite a meaty gauge.

What about korda choddys.
It's what I use for multi rigs and zig fishing when I have to use barbless.
Used in sizes 4 to 10 and never had a problem keep a point well.

J Precision Chod B hooks. Can't fault them and what I've been using on my hinge stiff rigs for some time now

You are not wrong, just had a quick look....

Korda wide gape choddy's are the one for me. I personally wouldn't try and save a few £ on hooks by using smaller/unheard of companies gear. If it goes wrong you will kick yourself. In reality if you go with any of the major brands you will be fine. Pick one you like the look of and try them out.
