I'm looking for a smallish holdall to keep my spare bits and bobs in when I go fishing, the bag will remain in the car until something in it is needed (very rarely).
If anyone remembers the old trakker 120L rucksacks with the detachable top and bottom bags I've been using them, but now all the handles and shoulder straps have snapped so I'm looking for something of a similar size so it fits in the jigsaw puzzle of how I pack my car.
Not bothered by brand as long as it does the job, and if you know me then the cheaper the better.

I use a storage box for all my spare bits. I just leave it in the car and take from it accordingly. Spare gas, extra bits of tackle, extra bait and some dried food. Works well.

Aldi Crane Fishing Bag £10.99 - not sure if they do these any more but mine is v compact and has a small hardcase section on the base - ideal for car storage (spare leads / gas / socks / cuddly toy); Chub did the same product rebadged and were selling it for £30!

I had one of them years ago, used it for baitboat battery etc, think I passed it on with the baitboat though. Will check Aldi.

Found the other "cookware" bag in my garage which still has an operational shoulder strap so will use that for now. I searched "fishing" bag instead of "cookware" bag on ebay and quite alot of cheap options came up on there so will explore them again when the shoulder strap snaps on this bag.

If you want cheap maybe go AD Advanta - just discovered my favourite large Trakker pillow is spore covered (left it in the garage over winter) so just bought an Advanta pillow for first sesh of the season tomorrow! Largest / firmest carpy pillow available and half the price of the nearest Gash equivalent!
