Morning all
I'm still using a freespirit framed large carryall. And have to admit with age I'm finding its size and weight a stuggle. So been looking at compact rucksacks as a potential replacement to cut down weight. And have a more practical session and day only tackle bag.
After whittling down through what is avaliable.
I have narrowed it down to 2. The ridgemonkey 40lt rucksack and the korda 45lt compac rucksack. I like both. I really like how the ridgemonky main compartment opens up. But I think the korda I think has a better arrangement of outside pockets.
For those that have either. What are your likes and dislikes🤔
And those that have the korda 45l compact, do you think the 60l would have been a better size to get ?

I have the Korda compac 45l rucksack when I was looking at a new rucksack I looked at the thinking anglers , ridgemonkey and Korda compac ones both 45l & 60l and the Korda compac 45l was the one I preferred out of the 4 of them perfect size without it feeling massive with plenty of storage pockets the Korda compac 60l was far to big

I went through a similar thing recently and opted for the Aqua black series roving rucksack. Sits on the back nicely decent big outer pockets and a removable divider/table on the inside, also a couple of small removable pouches thrown in.
I've added one of their small pouches (which is more medium in size) and it carries everything I need for a day and could probably be filled for over nighters too.
To make it work best, I really have trimmed everything down. Only taking what I need, selection of rigs made up etc, plus a few spare bits should I need anything.
Second on my list was the korum ruckall because of how it held the chair on the back too, but wasn't in stock anywhere.

Korum now do the progress xt ruckbag, measures 50*25*50, with hooks for a chair and lots of other nifty things. If i was in the market for a new ruckbag that would be it, or maybe i'll find a reason regardless. Don't know about availability.

I Had 2 aqua ones the lining came away from the seem not enough material put under before stitching it and the zip pullers came off on both the shop changed the first one same thing happened on second it's a good design but poorly made
