With the news Cryprinus are back, any long term users of the K2 mk2 and can let me know how they have been?
Or if they are no good then what are my alternatives for a 60" brolly?
my avid ascent has finally developed a couple of leaks and are in annoying places that I don't think are repairable.
Ideally don't want to be spending 400/500+ on one if possible hence my interest in the K2

I have a k2 and the material and size is very good the only issues I had was slipping storm poles so replaced them, not a great deal of ventilation so I've not used in summer and sometimes its been a nightmare releasing the brolly mechanism when packing down and with being a brolly the carry bag is very long. Tbh I use my quest defier more often as its far quicker to put up and the overwrap is cheap so makes an excellent winter bivvy.

How many people did they fleece out of hard earned when they went pop last time around...

Completely agree, it's too easy to get swayed by the cheap price when we know nothing of the new owners track record in businesses though looking on companies house at the tenure of some of the directors past companies it does raise concern.
Edit when I look a bit deeper one of the directors is still in the company before they went belly up.
Guess a few folk might be trying to get any monies owed ?
