Hi All.

I'm after some 'Small Water' reels, ideally with a baitrunner but not a deal breaker. Just wondering what people recommend?

Need a pair for some 10ft 2.25tc rods which may double up as a floater set up in the summer

If you are happy to go second hand then I would look at some Baitrunner aero 6000 gte. You can still buy the single handles if you don't like the doubles.

I love the Shimano Baitrunner and have quite a few in different sizes. You will get away with 6000 size and is probably good allrounde,r but the 5000 size is a nicer size if not casting too far as considerably smaller and lighter ,..... If want to move away from Baitrunner then Okuma Inc 6000 is a great reel for lighter rods

I'll happily 2nd the Okuma Inc 6000 as an option. Not a baitrunner but you get a lot of reel for your money and they pair with shorter, lighter rods very well in my experience

I will third the opinion of the Okuma inc 6000, GVFM and the quick clutch is a dream to use.

I've got a couple of Okuma 6000's and they are a very nice reel for the money on 10ft rods.

Find yourself a set of Shimano 10000 xte. Their spools are big enough to handle 15lb line and if loaded with 12lb are capable of well over 100yds.
I use them on Baby Ballistas.
