Had full confidence in bait, rigs, line and tactics.
Have had a few days off last couple of weeks.
Lost 1 to a hook pull.
Lost 2 on a bar with mussels (no leaders allowed but not on takes quick enough)
Lost one on a 2ft zig on 9lb line at the net.
Caught one to break the run
Blanked last night when on fish.
Going tomorrow- prey for me. I have gone from Hearn to absolute whallopper in two weeks.
Tell me it's a run, tell me it will end, tell me to keep the faith!

I've just done 5 nights , in a good swim . Caught 3 and lost 2. One took me through a snag and I ended up pulling in a branch. The other one I lost took off down the right hand side heading for a snag. I had to stop it, and after a five minute tussle it threw the hook. Sometimes it just doesn't go your way.

Brilliant day and one of the best I've had on my syndicate- not mega tricky, but given the last couple of trips - I had a mega day, lost none and had some good uns.

I hit a bad run of form since last October no carp until last month where I had a

24 and I lost one and then last week same public lake lost one and a small one at 14.5 but still happy to catch,this lake doesn't throw up many multiple bites so it was good to see that happening at least I was doing things right and my confidence got a boost,back on there next month for 3 days see what happens.

This is normally when I start tying up all manner of wonder rigs and casting up trees due to stress.
