Looking for a pair of smaller front drag reels to suit a pair of Korum All-rounder 11ft 1.25lb rods that I am considering buying for the occasional Tench and small Carp Fishing that I am hoping to do whilst away in our Caravan.
Any suggestions welcome because it is many years since I have fished for smaller Carp and Tench.

The Daiwa Ninja reels get good reviews and come in a variety of guises for size/drag.
Seem to be in the £50-70 price point so not budget but not mega expensive.

I use the Koram Black Shadow reel when fishing like that. Lovely piece of kit.

And of course the brilliant Daiwa ss2600
Recently got some gs4000 in place of ss2600's. They're much smoother and no wobbling. Apart from looks and the spool cap they're a better reel. Haven't used them much so hownrugged they are is yet to be seen tbf

Yes, I've got one for float fishing for tench early season, told myself I liked it for quite a while, great clutch, nice and smooth, but it's a bugger for line behind the spool, which is a real pain.

I have spent about 19 hours researching options and come to the conclusion
IF !!! I was standing in your boots there would only be one choice without spending silly amounts of money so my money would go on The Okuma Inception 6000

Getting hold of Okuma spares can be a pain sometimes, I've had a right ball ache getting parts for my Trex
