I currently have a Fox Explorer Deluxe barrow which has been fantastic for me over the years. I am now doing longer sessions on larger waters and as such need to transport more kit than I can fit on the barrow. Does anyone have any thoughts/recommendations on an upgrade? I would need transport kit for up to 5 days. It does not need a motor, I willing to do some work ;p

I do have my eye on a Nash Trax Evo mk2.

The new Fox barrow might be worth a look,it's bigger than your current barrow.It has a brace bar on the handle,extra mesh pocket at the back and bucket brackets at front.Im not sure how good them brackets are going to be though,does not look like much ground clearance

Once youve had a power barrow youll never go back and given the amount of kit you are looking to take I think its a no brainer

They are only good on flat even ground

When my MK2 Fatboy dies (maybe it won't) then I'd be looking pretty closely at one of these.

Looks very basic for the money,UK made with top quality materials though.They're obviously confident in it with the lifetime warranty

Can't understand why they've made a barrow without sides. The side rails are essential for me. For the extra weight I just don't get why they haven't got them.

I'm the opposite to you, I've taken them off both my barrows. Easier to get in the car and easier to load.

yes same as when I had the mk2 I took them off and used the bedchair legs

Exactly, I find the side bars more of a hindrance than a help but can't be bothered to take them off.
