I was having a look at these does anyone use them I nearly fell over £30 each £60 the pair talk about a rip off some of these companies prices are absolutely ridiculous

I've never heard of a Jag High Tipper so had to google it.
I've no use for them so the price doesn't matter to me, but by looking at them and knowing how highly priced gear can be I'm not surprised.
Which in a way is exactly what they want, they want to inflate prices to such an extent that we come to accept them.
I say don't buy them and look for a cheaper alternative, if there isn't one go with out, they'll only end up with other over priced stuff and then you'll end having to buy a bigger barrow.

Nobody is forcing you to buy them, so they are not a "rip off" at all. Just because you can't justify spending that money on them, it doesn't mean others can't.

Tackle Tavern have them for sale for £25 each. Considering the materials, cost of machinery, current cost of electricity, wages, after care sales etc for something that will make your life easier and outlast you is it really that expensive? A pizza from dominos costs £20 these days

It's to make a jag nano pod into a river pod so the pod has multi use for lake and river I've already ordered some cheaper ones
And the people that are paying these ridiculous prices are helping them to keep climbing now £550.00 and £600 for a bedchair so people on another thread are saying

you obviously never needed them before and managed somehow for ever so don't buy them.
Then you can save 60£ and spend on something you do need and you are not being “ripped off..”

I didn't pay nowhere near £250 it's was free a present so I didn't invest and I've changed river where you can't get bank sticks in ground so use a pod I already have into multi use that's win win

Like all things jag they a superbly engineered. I have three black ones and three 316 ones and love them, I personally dont think they are over priced. If you think there expensive then dont need to buy them, simple as that. Its nice to have the option though.

Of course there are.
Costs have gone up but some companies (not just angling) are putting up prices way above the rise of their operating costs.
They may sell less items but the increased mark up more than makes up for this.

I dont think that's the case in Angling,the shop I use have seen a huge increase in terminal tackle but a huge decrease in big ticket items.Bivvies and bedchair sales are well down,maybe people are not changing to the latest bit of kit due to they can't afford them at the prices being charged.The Trakker rep had a bit of a shock when a couple of shops I know refused to stock the latest oval bed and said they would just order them in as and when needed.JAG is just a tiny part of what the engineering firm that own them do,maybe they could afford to make a little less out of the fishing side of things.They won't do that whilst it's still selling at the prices they're charging though and why would they
