Hi can anyone recommend a decent bed chair? Im 17 stone and all the beds I have used sag a fair bit and does my back in I sleep on a firm mattress at home. Have tried tightening up the elastic but soon seems to drop down again after a while. Thanks.

Replace the elastic with paracord.
Leave a little bit of sag in it as there will be no stretch.
If it's too tight you will feel like you are going to roll off it.

Fox Flatliner and Solar SP C-Tech are both firm beds.

Solar SP C Tech - if you need something cheaper / bigger but not a wideboy the Wychwood Tactical in standard size - does need s SIM tho - I'm 16 stone and its stiff enough (which I prefer)

I took the advice on this forum and went for the CH08. Have not looked back - fantastic bed and a great price If you shop around.

I use a Wychwood Tactical X with the cord done as tight as I can, on top of that I have an Exped MegaMat 10 and a Fortis Snugpac bag. The sim and bag fold up in the bed and the sim can be inflated to your taste, its as comfortable as my bed at home.

I replaced the ropes on my avid benchmark lite with cable ties, it got rid of all the sag and made it lighter
Those solar beds look solid think il give 1 a go prefer a bed and bag over a system anyway 👍

They are solid and that means a bit heavier than lesser models. I use the bedchair with an old Gardner Carp Duvet and it works very well.
