Want people's thoughts on these two spod rods. Or if anyone's used one of these and thinks some tbh info else is better.
Only want comparisons not just people telling me to buy what they have when they've not had multiple top end rods to compare with eachotger

Have used the 13ft aviator and C2D 13ft against eachother.
I was looking for something to send the largest spod the furthest with accuracy.
C2D felt stiffer to me but I got on better with it so ended up with one of them.
Whiplash to braid shockleader my preferred combo on reel with the C2D.
Am a decent caster with good hand speed.
Have used the 13ft aviator and C2D 13ft against eachother.

I have the Aviator in 12ft and the TB CFX in 13ft. Bought the CFX to save a few quid on a 13ft rod that doesn't get used a great deal. Should have just bought the Aviator in 13ft tbh. The Aviator Spod is on a different level to the CFX, it's excellent.

I don't use both, but i have the aviator spod in 13ft and tried the hi-s for a few casts with a large spod before i made my choice.
The fact that i ended up with the aviator says it all i suppose. It is the best spod rod that i have ever used. Im a fairly decent caster but can put a large spod 160+ all day and have done 215 yds with a 5oz lead. It compresses easily and because of that it can be used heavily without too much of an issue.
The other bonus of the harrison is that you can buy it off the shelf at a decent standard of build. Do that a free spirit and there is likely to be anything from varnish imperfections to wonky guides and loose reel seats

Cant help you with the freespirit but i can tell you the 13ft Aviator is very easy to compress and is a joy to use .As said the factory built rods (which are all hand built) are spot on.
So if I've already got a 13ft hi -s is it worth upgrading? Or is the difference negligible
