Hi any one got any recommendations on these good or bad just after a pair as a day alarm for a few sessions a year

I have been using them for the last three years and never had any issues. I am only changing from them now because I want a receiver rather than waking up the whole lake at night!

I've got EVds (for days river bashing) and TXIds - in terms of bite registration EVds work exactly the same way; the only differences are functionality (most of which is redundant anyway) and obvs lack of remote interface - great VFM alarms IMO

I have them Great alarms for price only one thing I don't like is holding in button to turn them off it's not instant it takes to long waiting for the bleep

How long does it take? Sounds like they're guarding against being turned off by accicent.

Thanks for the response fellas think ill get a new set as for the price between new and used is not a lot of difference plus that way you get a gaurentee
