Anyone have one? Any good? Just after a 2nd / spare net.
Seen 1 guy on here have a spreader block break didn't know if it was a comom fault with them.

I think a few of these nets had issues,blocks and arms breaking on them

I've got one its alright but I wouldn't buy another, when I first bought it the little stainless spreader block was always coming loose, very easily fixed I just replaced the white nylon washer they used which was solid and didn't compress under tension swapped it for a chunky "o"ring and sorted that issue but I also find the arms a bit sloppy when lifting to land the fish it sort of drags up through the water hard to explain but the arms being sloppy sort of slows the process.

I think mine might be an older one, with a plastic spreader block.

Or possibly another Trakker net I've had the EQ about 10 years not long after they were in the shops, thought they always had the same stainless machined block the one in the picture is the same as mine I have a Trakker T8 with a plastic spreader..

Thats the only EQ net they did

I've got one, not impressed at all. As someone has said, the arms are floppy, as is the handle, which makes it a pain when manoeuvring in water. The plastic bit that holds the cord and screws into the arms is constantly coming undone as well.

Just bought myself a Chris Brown net to replace this. expensive but light and bullet proof and will probably outlast me!

I had one but I've sold it now. Had the pole break just under the spreader block so I had to buy another pole. Also arms are not easy to get in and out of the spreader. I would avoid.

Apologies everyone, I'm talking crap, mines a Sanctuary T3.

I had a diawa version from before trakker started doing them and also have an EQ I bought second hand. Never had the slightest problem with either of them.

Check out the cygnet sniper nets on offer at AD - I just bought a pair cos they were dirt cheap and although the spreader looks similar to the EQ it works really well and is solid / easy to pop out. Cygnet part of the same group as Trakker so unsurprisingly the handle is exactly the same as the two piece T8 Trakker . . .

Aye, my Dad showed me his cygnet net the other day and its identical to my trakker t3 in everyway apart from the colour of the pole.

I have the eq with the metal block, never had an issue with it and had it ages. it can be tough to get arms out but theres a knack to it

I've got two Eq's, one I've had ages
Never had a problem with it but did find it a pain in the arse at first trying to get the arms in because of the small spreader block.
As City Koi says, there is a knack to it
