As a follow on from my bag rig question what do you consider to be bag content essentials. After really enjoying last weekend using them for the first time since the 90s I'm looking to see if I can improve a basic boilie crumb and pellet bag. Powder, baits and liquids, what should I be filling my little sacks with?

I put dry powder and pellets in the bag because if the liquid is too damp the bag can distort if too wet and may affect casting, also jab some oil into the bag and sometimes put hydro liquid onto the bag a favourite of mine at minute is hemp oil in bag then liquid liver onto the bag.
I use the dynamite bottle with a nozzle on and I bought some smaller ones from a bottle place online for about 40p/50p each all with nozzles

I use coarse pellets, ground Vitalin and boilies. Nothing complicated, rarely anything else, no oils or liquids.

I use a layer of betaine powder at the bottom of the bag, cant say it has 'massively improved my catch rate but it has not been detrimental either just a confidence boost I suppose.

Thought I'd had a fantastic idea. Went in my boilie making bucket and came out with some lamlac. Creamy and powdery, lovely little bag addition. Bloody stuff floated up and away after about a minute, came up it big blobs.
I always mix in some krill to my bag mixes along with some oil of some form, usually salmon oil or hemp oil. Krill floats so as the mix breaks down you get particles of krill rising and falling/suspending in the water at various levels along with the oil.
I put a bit of mixed soluble powder in the bottom - yeast, liver, soluble fishmeal or whatever, and some wheatgerm or crayfish meal or anything attractive and floaty.
Lead settled down in that flatbed style.
Then normal 3/4 mm pellets, hook in on the top, few more normal pellets to cover the concertinered hooklink, then finish off with 1,5/2 mm pellets to get a nice neat top to tighten down.
Tie up then add some liquid through a hole near the hookbait - fish sauce, oil, whatever. Vape bottles are quite good for "injecting" the liquid.
Seems to work OK.
