My craghopper kiwi trousers have ripped a bit too much too repair. So looking to replace, want a cargo style trouser and not thick so good for spring/summer. Before I replace with the same again anything else worth considering. Looks like you can get the craghoppers for around £30 with a bit of shopping around. Only thing I don't like about them is find them a bit baggy.

Don't laugh but I use aldi work trousers, they have a pocket as such on the knees to insert kneeling pads which I don't use but if gives you a double material section

Rohan make decent cargos. My fav though are fjallraven but there quite thick and very expensive but they last for years.

Kiwi's are great for money. Decathlon do some decent ones.
Asda combats if they still do them in green -solid.

I'd love a pair of Fjallraven, just can't bring myself to spend the money

I hit on in the sales and got the fjallraven vidda pros for £120 instead of £190 so stocked up with 4 pairs so should see me out as they last for ever. Still exspensive at £120 mind but there in a league all of there own and its all i really wear each day. There one of the few cargos that have a 35 inch inside leg and the fit is superb with the slightly angled knee section being sewn into the design so fit me perfectly.

I buy either Cragghoopers or Brasher for work and fishing, i normally pop to either Millets or Go Outdoors as the sizing can be a little out ordering online.

Get a pair of Helikon combat trousers - seriously good and very high quality. Military 1st sell them. Craghoppers were once pretty good, now, utter crap and the fit is rubbish too. Like a lot of companies, they've cut the quality to save money and then put their prices up.

I've got a few pairs of the Craghoppers and some from Brasher.
The Brasher's are absolutely fine, but I still prefer the Craghoppers, as much as anything because they dry so quickly if you get wet.
