I've recently spooled up with Thinking Anglers SBX braid after hearing good things.
First thoughts are it's very thick, I just read it's 0.34mm/0.49mm uncrushed.
What's uncrushed when it's at home? As it don't seem 0.34mm.

It's 0.49 diameter basically. With braid due to it being strands it crushes in a measuring device unlinke mono which is solid, so you can get a thinner reading. 0.34 is manufactures claim I asked TA this, don't let it put you off though it's mega stuffs sinks well and 100 yards is still achievable. There is a thinner one on the way that will be 0.40 uncrushed 👍

It's pukka gear. Can't wait for the thinner one to be released. My favourite mainline. Think overall it may even be better than the original bullet braid. Maybe, it's close.
They 100% need the thinner version. The casting ability of the current one is seriously lacking IMO. Can have the Shimano Power Pro @ 44lb bs with a thinner diameter and casts a lot lot better, IMO.
The above said, I had a fish just shy of 60lbs on the TA braid and it was the hardest fight of my life, it went for snags left, right and centre, but I never worried about the braid letting me down once, it felt rock solid and performed like it too, so no complaints on it's performance from me.

Power Pro isn't a heavy sinking braid though there 2 totally different products. Something that is heavy and sinks is never going to cast great, the same as fluoro doesnt compared to a standard mono theres no one product that does everything.
I use the TA as stated below its good for 25 wraps / 100yards at a push I would say, but then if your fishing at 100 yards plus not sure why you would want a heavy sinking braid, then something like power pro or similar would be a better suited in that situation.
