has anybody purchased the Korda framed carryall (large)?
im considering a purchase, but would just value some other peoples opinions before i go ahead.

It's nothing new there was the fox ruck box in 93 then in 90s Nash made one really heavy which I had as far as I remember they never caught on far to heavy and clumbersum only good for barra best if you can see one first

Agree, had a fox one. Horrible big heavy thing and totally pointless without adjustable legs.

I've got one in the loft. Could get loads in it, with good access, but too heavy and awkward to carry,and doesn't ride well on the barrow. I now use a Gardner barrow bag.

It's based on the old Efgeeco seat box. Don't believe the Korda one is designed to be sat on. But could be wrong on that. Freespirit bought out something similar a few years back. Used to be able to access the contents of the carryall through a side flap
No need to remove stuff on the table and accessing through the top. From what I can gather the Korda version doesn't have this facility. Think they've missed a trick there.

I had look at the Gardner barra bag looks good for price shame about Gardner they make some good bits but never got into the trendy league everyone wants Aqua trakker fox ect

Yes I used to use it when I was doing days only, and sitting on it under a 50" brolly. I'm too old and feeble to carry stuff now, and a dodgy back means more creature comforts required. . Was good for the original purpose, but bloody heavy if you filled it up.

Similar concept to the Nash speedloads,before that Efgeeco ,Cadet,Standard and Major ,also the Stephens of Birmingham, incantations ,similar..
My memories are big ,bulky ,heavy ,cumbersome., plus it most likely contributed so something very jolly and interesting..

Don't overlook quality gear just because it's not trendy. Gardner have been making quality gear for donkeys years now. If it does the job you want done. Then buy it it.

Yes,good point...
Luggage to me has to serve my purpose ,...not whether it has bankside credit, or no..
I rate Gardner and ESP....just works ..!

People do if they are more influenced by hype rather than quality. Gardner don't spend all their budget on promotion like some companies do. Didn't mean any slur on you or anyone else. Just the way it seems.

If you are talking about the original Fox ruck box this is different gravy - they only stopped making them as they cost so much to produce, proper frame based on the army bergan, gortex material and still use and love mine it is bullet proof
