Using more and more mesh PVA than ever before these days - from rivers to lakes the convenience and effectiveness of clipping or nicking on a golf ball sized bag of whatever seems to work consistently
TBF do usually buy (and like) the Korda Original Funnel Web mesh in terms of all round use (and I've tried them all) based on quality / melt time / anti ladder etc and being lazy I usually pick up a bulk spool from the local tackle shop but at £20 for 20M there must be better deals out there?

Carpcraze is the one,when tested in a magazine a fair few years ago,it came out on top.I have used it for years with no issues at all

I used the Korda funnel web when it was all that was available, then moved to Carp Craze after recommendations on here.
The Carp Craze stuff is better regardless of the price, I'd be surprised if you ever went back.

For those interested in a cheaper alternative, I buy mine from fishing20k on ebay. He's currently listing 35m refill packs on auction starting at £0.01 and £0.98 postage. One auction has just finished at £8 + £0.98 postage for 35m.
He also does a Buy It Now / Best Offer for £17.50 delivered (35m). Does it in varying lengths up to 100m, and there's usually a freebie thrown in like PVA string, nuggets, etc.
In terms of quality, never really had any major issue with it. It does ladder slightly as it gets older, I don't use that much and have noticed after it's been on the mounting tube for a long time, it does ladder. Simple solution is to not put too much onto the tube.
And another good thing, he's from Stoke!!

You were selling it until I read the last sentence
Had a massive phase of rarely if ever using any PVA other than occasional solid bags; however doing more and more short sessions / days and can go through 20M in no time

If you can bring yourself to buy from someone in Gods Country, give it a try when you run out of your 20m. Worth a punt at under a tenner for 35m, and if you get through it quick, you should avoid the laddering issue.
If you do get some, please report back.

Gods Country is not Stoke, nor is it Yorkshire - its the home counties I'm afraid . . . people in that area are not bothered about deals on PVA lol

I do as Fred suggests, and dont put too much on yards tube.

Carp craze PVA delivery was rapid - good quality so thanks for advice. Carriers also handy as they can be used as winders for my fat Korum Glide float rigs
