Anyone know who owns Cyprinus ?
Seems they went under just a few days after they took my money and didn't fulfill my order.
Surely they knew what was about to go down ?
I work bloomin hard for my money and you could say I'm a tad miffed !
Hopefully Paypal will reimburse me, but they won't even look at my case until Jan 5th, at which point I will be back at work offshore.
So, who is the baddie ?

I think you made the same mistake as I did previously, this is a different company.

I know some really liked Cyprinus and "championed" them for bringing Trakker to task.....but in reality they are rip off merchants peddling sh!te Chinese copies....the DH Gate of the Carp tackle industry.

Yep that's the one Andy Train is / was the MD. Looking at their last accounts all that was increasing was their debt, perhaps the bank called in their loan..../ dealing with China became too costly and challenging in the end....
I would say margin probably got eroded a lot due to rising material / labour costs over the last couple of years to a point the business was just not viable.
A lot of business whom sell on price are just going to disappear, we'll probably have to accept paying a little more for tackle.

Rubbish. It's obvious that Cyprinus re-badged seconds, look at the amount of negative reviews they have.
I would rather pay twice the price for something that has a chance of still working inside 12 months rather than the Cyprinus crap.

I notice the MD has opened a new company on the 16th December, I worry for those who have paid for goods but not yet received..

A question. If memory serves me correct, when Cyprinus first started didn't they get good reviews saying it was the same as Trakker but a lot cheaper?
