I had the same thoughts years back, was going to ask Keith at MPS to make me a set but never bothered in the end. Seen people cut normal ones down but as i barrow i came to the conclusion i was just looking for something to waste money on, different gravy if you have to tab your gear to your swim though

It's the cost and time to make titanium bivvy pegs so most people won't make them as the price they need to sell at to make it financially worth it is just too high

I've also got a set of the JRC x-lite and they are very light! However, with the lack of weight comes a lack of strength and I've spent a lot of time trying to re-straighten them after they've bent like drinking straws.
If you have soft banks where you fish then they are superb, otherwise try and treat them

I have some of the jrc ones. I only take 2 with me and they total 70 grams. You can get some camping branded titanium pegs at 10 grams but it's hardly worth the saving in weight IMO.
Strange, we have gone from the days of cheap light metal tent pegs up to decent heavy duty screw in pegs supplied with almost every bivvy.
I can remember the days of pushing in a simple crook type tent peg and hoping I wouldn't bend it or that the ground was too soft or hard.
Titanium tent pegs, evilbay, around £3.50 for 6 pegs, but they are (God forgive me) hammer in.
