I've had my jrc high care walled mat for nearly 10 years and it's been fantastic for value and p
Carp care only downside is it's massive but that is the only negative. Is there a walled Mat that packs down well? I've also looked at pop up mats/cradle are these any good or a waste of money

Nash carp corral high walled cradle packs down flat and Bristol angling seemed to have both size at a reduced price I use the standard size myself find it decent

Another vote for the Korum Transition. Unless your fishing for true giants then it will handle everything and packs down small. Should you hook something monstrous you have the option of folding down the sides to make it a flat mat. Only downside really is it may be out of production.

I've got thinking anglers mat, very well padded and has kneeling pad. Can double up as a cushioned seat on the bank, even after catching fish as has a velcro cover over main mat and two little handy pockets on kneeling pad to put fish care bits in.
Quite big but folds up easily and clips onto the front of my barrow or i've used it to carry the rods etc in with a handy carry strap on it.
Only downfall is it's quite expensive, but there are feals out there to be had if your after one!😉

If you want to look at a cradle the Saber Everlevel is a good shout IMO - light compact and good quality - would struggle with a 50+ fish however. I bought one through necessity on my new syndy and I actually quite like it - got a custom bag made by BAS but it actually dries really quick anyway (compared to some of the water drinking walled type mats)

I've got one I use for when I'm fishing smaller waters with fish to Mid 30s
It's light, compact and plenty big enough for carp to early 30s
It just hangs off my rucksack.

I have the standard version for a little park lake I fish and when I take my son to day ticket waters. Absolutely fine for fish up to mid 20s and very well put together. Recommend the product. For waters with bigger fish got the Advanta XL pop up mat and they is decent too. Not as well put together as the Korum but does the job well enough when space is at a premium so I can't use my preferred Chub mat
