Feeling the need to treat myself to a new brolly but am not sure which to look at as the market seems pretty saturated at the moment. But am really missing the old oval type of brolly tbh.
Criteria's:
1. Has to be brolly system with front.
2. Has to be old style brolly that wraps up.
3. Has to fit my ESP 3 rod quiver.
What do you recommend???

Ive gone for a Compact brolly BUT its got great height checkout the Solar undercover brolly system
10,000 HH Camo fabric /or Green
- Rain gutter on the front to direct rain water off to the sides
- Mozzi-mesh air-vent in the rear
- Two Velcro rod straps on the front
- Seven-spoke hub system with maximum head room thanks to the low-profile hub
- Supplied with heavy-duty pegs

Can't comment on your 3rd point but in terms of quality and value you will struggle to beat the Solar Undercover Brolly system. Easy to set up, comes with everything you need for a system (barring a groundsheet which can be purchased separately), good quality material and even though gone up in price in recent months (what hasn't?) it still is good value for money

I had one of these for a while. Only used it once and sold it as I prefer my tempest brolly.
Seemed very good quality though, was nice and light. My main issues with brollys, is I like to stand and use the top of my tempest like a table, to put stuff on while I'm redoing or setting up the rods. Also find the skull cap really useful for putting a towel under, or a throwing stick.
But the tempest won't fit in the ops quiver. The undercover brolly is decent, especially for the money

I bought Hoffs Tempest 100T off him (with tags still on) I wish I had brought one yrs ago, so good I will buy another to store for future use in case they stop production of it. Love the height, how easy it is to erect and break down, and so light to carry too.

A few years back I saw the Carp Spirit Speed R brolly. I think it was at the Farnborough show. It was a very impressive brolly system and seemed really good quality and well thought out. It was far better than the offerings from all the other manufacturers I saw at the show. At the time I'd bought the Sonik Armatek brolly which leaked so had to be returned. I really wish I'd got the Carp Spirit. I don't think I've ever seen one on the bank though which is strange as I still think it's the best brolly system I've seen.

Edit: I keep checking now and again to see if any ever come up on decent deals, but I've never seen one. I think there just isn't enough of them to be offered on deals. I'd snap one up if I ever saw one at a good price.

They're about 150 more than a standard brolly system, I'd like to see one myself, they look the part.
Edit: after watching the video I'm less impressed,the photos gave me the impression the centre boss was far shorter than it actually is.

The way the brolly is shaped puts the boss much further back than on most other brolly systems I've seen making it well out of the way. So if you were sitting on a bed chair the boss wouldn't be an issue.
There are a few video reviews of it which show it better than the actual video on Carp Spirit website.

The solar undercover brolly is awful in a cross wind because it doesnt have storm poles on the side it folds in on itself I got rid of mine after 3 sessions

Used mine in high winds and pouring rain during a storm and it never moved
It does come with rib extenders for the sides but I've never even bothered using them.

I do use the extenders, they are permanently attached, but agree with the sentiment. I've used mine in some horrendous wind and rain and it stood up perfectly. Definitely more sturdy than my old Wychwood brolly and as sturdy as my tempest that I replaced with this
