Just been told that Korda has bought carp porter, just contacted them about a new battery and they said they are doing a stock inventory and are then being purchased by Korda so nothing is for sale until it's done

I bought my Prestige Carporter Power Xtreme and eventually took delivery in December 2021, it's been used approximately a dozen times and the batteries are not holding the charge and less than after 20 mins use the red battery indicator light flashes continuously, so given it's got a 2 year warranty how do I go about getting replacement batteries ?

I would think any guarantee will be the responsibility of the new company owners and should be honoured by them.
Obviously batteries shouldn't fail after so short a time but I suspect you might struggle to prove they had a manufacturing defect. Most likely some outside influence will have caused their demise.
Apart from obvious things like physical damage premature failure can be caused by the following.
Overcharging- check or even change your charger. That would be where I would look first as it's the most likely cause but you would need to prove the charger they supplied was faulty.
Undercharging ( check your charger) and leaving them discharged, charge asap after use.
Do not let the batteries drop below 50% state of charge if lead acid. It will reduce their lifespan considerably.
When you do get the batteries replaced make sure the cause of failure has been found and rectified.

Thanks for your reply I think the service is disgraceful tbh considering they had all my money from date of order (25/5/2021) then they managed to deliver it to me 13/12/2021 and now seem to have washed there hands of it, they just said Korda have bought the company and I'd probably be able to buy replacement batteries off eBay cheaper. !!!

Put the ball in Kordas court then. Call them up and tell them you've spoken Prestige about a warranty issue and Prestige have told you it's Kordas problem now.

They're not interested, so I've bought a new battery from our local stockist, who tested and confirmed a faulty battery, and guess what a warranty of 12 months ...... Big shout out to Bournemouth Battery Centre Ltd.

For whatever reason they insist on using Yuasa batteries.
Their deep cycle batteries are rubbish!
I used sell them for golf trolleys but had so many issues!
I'll be surprised if the warranty is 2 years on the batteries - Best I can get for lead acid is 1 year.
