As you're The Stig, ask yourself this....would you buy a Chinese imported car or a UK made one? How many Chinese cars from the mid 1900's are still in the country compared to UK ones?

I mean, I saw a 1970's Corvette yesterday - oldest for a while but not British. Imagine getting stuck behind a car made in the 1950's.

Ive been told by a very large retailer that they are made in the same factory. Pay for the name or pay for a product that does the same? Many rest on their laurels nowadays because they can and carpers, let's be honest, they ain't the brightest...

In fairness you're not just paying for the name, you're paying for world-class after sales and what is essentially a life-time guarantee. Not that you'll need it.
If it's true that RH manufacture the Saber scales then imo it's a given that they're not manufactured to the same quality as the real thing. It'd make no commercial sense whatsoever.
