I'm still refusing to buy or eat products from Dairy crest Davidstow, Cornwall..thats all Saputo products..

Today the company appeared in court facing many charges of pollution and negligence..the verdict is on June 23rd

Since last weekend ,that river has been polluted at least twice to my knowledge, I camped by the river on my stretch,only to be woken at 11.45 by a foul smell,and a nasty discharge ,which clouded this once beautiful little trout river..its ruined,no weed no fish now,even the otter has fcud off,no spraints or kill platforms anywhere,dead,dead ,dead...

The toxic discharge is being let out at night,so know one knows,..I know ,and so does my friends at the EA...I hope Saputo ,get heavily fined..

AVOID ALL SAPUTO PRODUCTS....,river and ecosystem murderers..

It's amazing what big money can get away with. Please keep up the good work. I hope you can get this obscene behavior changed.

In the last couple of days The river Ottery has been badly polluted,as well as the Pormorla stream ,all have lost fish..

Cornwall is only a small place,it cannot stand this level of ecosystem abuse ,created by overtourism,greedy selfish farmers,housing developers, cashing in on the second home scandals..

It's bad mate...not only the pollutions, but the second home scandal...my village had about 5 second homes,now its over 40 ,since Covid..

My family lived in another village nearby,tween my grandparents old house and my parents old house ,17 second homes,..

Village dead..

I feel for you. People shouldn't be allowed to buy second homes unless they are going to live there for at least 6 months of the year.

Thing they are not second homes, it's the same in many parts of the UK, they are merely investment properties and cannot be classed as home if the owner isn't in full time residence. To leave a house sitting empty without good reason ie illness, working away etc with so many unable to afford rent never mind buying forcing people onto the streets is morally wrong in my opinion.

My eldest ,lives in a caravan on her mother in laws drive,has two degrees,own business,her husband, own business,plus 16 generation full on Cornish...they can't afford to buy ,..

It's immoral, all I can say is

People of Carpforum ,if you come to my county,don't stay in a so called second home,stay in a hotel or decent campsite..or B and B...

Absolute disgrace! They pleaded guilty to all charges therefore knew what they were doing. Someone posted an interesting and scandalous article about the sewage pollution constantly going into UK rivers via water treatment plants on here. It was shocking, but the shareholders got paid out every year from my water bill
