Hi All,
I've been trying to get a Portalite Mk2 for ages now but it seems out of stock everywhere so just wondering which out of the following two people might recommend having used them. My current JRC barrow is around 14kg so ideally want something a little lighter if possible.

Hang fire,I think prestige are getting big delivery next week,the mk2 powerporter frames are suppose to be in the delivery

You did well finding somewhere that has the Nash Trax Metro Mk2 Barrow in stock...
Last week I searched far and wide and everyone was sold out although Tackle Box stated they expected them by the end of the month...

Nash Trax Metro is bigger and heavier than a Porterlite; also has a much lower front bar - plenty of mk2s available however - why not get one and remove all the unnecessary bits (side bars / Y rest) etc not quite as compact but not far off

Yes,...maybe Apps could look at the prestige mk2 streamline..I had an old mk2,and customised it to be lower,puncture proof and sidebar less was great...sold it years ago to a local,who does the carp chronicals..porterlite, is great barrow ,

For me really depends on your fishing style.
If you want to fish off the barrow and do mostly days the explorer is the business. If you fish sessions then you will be unpacking bits and it doesn't work quite so well.
If I am doing overnighted I would want the most basic barrow (I have an old chub one, as it's a complete pack and load. The size of beds these days mean any barrow is gonna look like an Indian moped on the way to a market.
