I know this can be as basic a scaffold board but wondering if there is anything off the shelf which any of you use? Or something I can get made which is a bit sturdier than a board.

Just been given a work van and fed up of unloading it and would prefer to roll out my kit.

Proworks premium extendable loading ramp,its about £90.A mate uses it and its really well made and very good

Dont go to a motorbike shop, you pay a premium for them.

I use this one, £36 and free postage. Not a great deal more than a scaffold board

Ah we have these at work for certain machinery so could always order through them. Only problem is I'm a bit of a tit with a wheelbarrow, practise makes perfect I guess, I'll have to make sure no one else is in the car park.

£90 is too rich for me, thanks though bradders.

Barrow loaded, driven in the van and out using the ramp, barrow often weighs in excess of 50Kg

The red plastic coated fingers sit well on the bumper, which makes to ramp the right height with the floor of the van

I looked at these a few years ago , i the end I used a scaffold plank . Iv never had any issues

I just use a piece of board got off cut from man on saw in b&q i think it was £5 had it 10 years never had a problem

If you want it stronger, glue / screw a couple of pieces of 2 or 3x1 to it.

I picked up a foldable motorcycle ramp from Ebay does the job perfect
