Recently put this on my spod and marker rods, tied via an albrighton knot and a few casts in both knots went? I've never had this before with armakord so wondering if others have the same issue.

I use it with a back to back grinner to braid or mahin to flouro and never had an issue.

I use the esp tapered leaders on my spod rod and distance rods...use the mahin knot to connect the mainline to leader, 7 up and 4 back, then grinner knot to swivel in lead clip system or the the spomb on the spod rod...take your time with the knots and ease them in slowly when tightening up...no issues been using this method and knots for years home and abroad on big lakes ...all good 👍

Personally wouldnt use an Albright on braid to braid.
As Bully says, Mahin knot for me when using braid to braid.

Mahin is different from the Albright. I use the mahin on braid to braid no issues and also fine mainline to fluoro leader again no issues. You have to bed the mahin down properly and test between your hands to see it's sat right.

I use the Albright with no problems but if you are using thinner braid you need to whip it up and then down a minimum of 7 times for me. Ensure you pass the tag through the same way as it comes into the loop too
Another tip, use the thinnest of the two braids for whipping
Also, I would have thought the packet would show recommend knots etc. they usually do?

When using a Mahin knot braid on braid, tie an overhand knot in the tag end of the braid main line before bedding down. Bed the knot down dry as they can slip...
