I'm going to spool up my SS2600 reels with ESP Syncro. I have had the 12lb loaded version on a pair of them, but I'm respooling with the stadard Syncro. My question is will the 15lb (.37mm) be to thick - any users? In the Tackle box line chart it seems that the real diameter is a little lower than stated on the box. I found the 12lb loaded on the thin side, but I'm not sure if the standard Syncro is .33mm as stated or a little thinner.

I've got standard 12lb syncro on my SS2600s - line lay is perfect. Stay away from the loaded - completely different line IMO and wouldnt use it full stop compared to the original . . .

I've been using the standard 12lb xt on my gs4000's and love it, very tough line, soak it over night and it loads buitifull. It does coil a little if left unused for some time but never been an issue and soon takes on water again once in use.

I think the 12lb ESP Syncro XT is the best 12lb line available but NOT the loaded version that seems like a different line all together

the only other line that I raved about possibly the best mono I have ever used was the now discontinued Shimano Catana mono that was the dogs

Thanks guys. I'll try the 12lb version.

Wasn't impressed by the loaded, but the standard XT 18lb have been great on my tournies.
