I need a weigh sling that isn't expensive and that can handle 30lb+ carp. Can anyone recommend one?

Have a look at the NGT one's (not the retainer combined) ridged arms comes complete with a sleeve to keep it in around £20 on eBay, I got one for my day session set up had it just over a year, nice and light fits in the quiver no problem.

Just a sling that's good for weighing the carp. That can easily fit a 30lb+ carp and which is easy to use to release the fish back into the water

Get yourself a retainer sling, does both jobs in one, Got a Rod Hutchinson one - not very good overall and wouldn't recommend, also a Chub one that is very good.
Unhook the fish in it on top of your mat, zip up and weigh, then into the water if retaining without transferring again. Weighs 4lb wet, but zero the scales if not soaking beforehand.

I have the chub one, it's great. The only trouble with retainers is the pack down size. I use a TA quiver and with 5 rods and a brolly attached there is no room so I always forget it.

Is the wynchwood carp sack worth getting or would the NGT £20 one be better? I've been looking at both..

I supply the NGT slings at my place and they've been absolutely spot on. Great price as well.

Not worth getting a sack tbh, so many likes don't allow them. The NGT retainer/weigh along mentioned below is exactly what you're after.

I use one more for weighing pike more than carp, but agree totally, they are right.
