Has any one got any good flavour combinations with cinnamon EO for hookbaits. I was thinking jb plum and crab with cinnamon.

As an essential oil and oleo I much prefer cassia, personal preference really.

I guff out the bottle along with orange essential oil at Christmas time 😂

I used to use Cinnamon EO with Peach Nutrafruit.
I do not know if the Nutrabaits flavours have changed since I used that combination though. It worked well on The Biollix and Enervite Gold.

I would think that it would go well on any nutty type bait

That nick is a very good combo!

a good squid flavour goes well also. Specially if you use a little cinnamon powder to coat or within the bait or hookbait.

Many years ago I used abs nut mix with cinnamon eo and condensed milk flavour. It was a brilliant bait

I've usually used Cinnamon with clove EO as well. Probably with a cream/maple flavour.

However, most people do what others do - your combo sounds v interesting.

Used Cassia essential oil and Linalyl butyrate (peach ester) and some bits on an egg free milk protein / birdy basemix years ago and it was fantastic, didn't boil it, diluted honey as the liquid component. swapped it out for molasses on a pit with a lot of bird life but quickly went to fish meal

Daniel Clarke (Biologic Baits) on Facebook does Ultraspice. I sourced it for him from the same company that Rod used in the 80's and 90's, however this is Ultraspice on IPA base so imo even better for winter.
