In a few years time there is going to be one hell of an atmosphere in a retirement home somewhere lol

I actually think they've run the idea of a three hour podcast with one/two guests as far as they can take it. I think it actually needs a change of tack now. Personally rather than one angler talking about their own fishing, I think a more technical series would now be good. For instance one week a rig talk. Have an angler go through the whole range of rigs and their uses, plus making them etc. Another week focus solely on location at different times of the year etc. Maybe one week a really in depth three hours on bait etc etc. Perhaps just do one a month but get in an expert in that field and really go into depth. I guess it would be a bit like a masterclass but three hours long.

I think they haven't even Scratched the surface of people to interview for 3 hours. I like the format, and think it works.


Fox have tried that thing on YouTube where they fish a session, and then afterwards sit down and discuss the session, kind of like match of the day, and discuss where they could have done things differently etc. What a great idea, but my god is it mind knumbingly boring. "yeah so I boshed a yellow pop up out but I should have done a pink one ya know"

Fox seem to have a recruitment policy to employ all the kids at school with no mates who had their sandwiches stolen every lunchtime. The less charisma the better.
