Total Fishing Tackle have had good ones in the past, last year got a set of 3 x 10' Daiwa rods with cork handles for £76.

They are doing a pre Boxing Day teaser sale at the moment. Not looked but if it's anything like the Black Friday teaser one the deals in there may be better than during the full sale

Any of the old northern monkeys rember the staple Boxing Day sales was like a big social in the car park ceeing old mates in the queue

Stapeley,bloody hell that's a few years ago now.They did some crazy sales,I remember my mate got three shimano reels cheaper than one cost out of the sales.It was chaos first thing,people all trying get them limited items.It was a shame that place went

Loved Fishtec for that. Be patient and it right and you could get
Genuine steals. Stuff like 40,% off PLUS another 20 quid.
I remember getting Biomaster XTA reels for 74.99
Then a year later picking up a third for 54.99

Stapeley had a really good sale on everything but then would do a select few items on a first come first served basis.These items were ridiculously cheap,it was the one and only time I actually saw my mate run

Yea it's a good local shop but nothing like what stapeley was only other shop I went that was as good was fosters

He had a room in the back,I still go to Julie for any repair work on bivvies or luggage.Julie was one of the original seamstresses when they were made properly

I picked my Aqua Armadillo up from his shop at Stapely.
Watched the lady finish it while I waited.
Still prob the best bivvy I have owned.
