Video of a German fella on YouTube puts one up, it looks a nightmare and it looks flat calm when it was shot. With a headwind it'd be even worse

Didn't know Penning was now working for JRC. Last time I've seen a YouTube of him, he had a Prologic head on

i think the idea is great ... but would have reservations over the logevity of the mechanism ....
With regards getting it up when windy - it'll be no worse than the Pioneer and doesnt need additional poles to erect it (ive always thought that was stupid idea in itself),
Love the wide double door options and the fact it can be splayed out to go lower.
With regards it being low - i think the whole "bivvy is to low" brigade have lost the plot .... a shelter that protects from elements and is strongest needs to be low. Dont want low, then buy a 2man bivvy or a tent.

Having said that I dont expect it will be a sales success but its good to see something different (albeit similar to Greys) to the over complicated Pioneer and the insane amount of Tempest models, reincarnations and copies .... good luck to JRC

I have just had a look at the german video it looked to me like he was struggling a bit with the winding mechanism seems over engineered nonsense to me, i prefer the designs on the tempests, titans etc
