Hi guys
Wondering if anyone can point me in the right direction or had any experience buying a waterproof and warm coat in decent big sizes ?
I'm 6ft 9 and 26 stone and I'm finding it hard to get anything. I've seen certain winter coats online not a fishing brand in big sizes. Just wondering if people have had the same experience and managed to find something decent.
I'm probably looking at sizes 4xl to 5xl to get the length.
Any help would be great

Thanks for the reply mate. I spoke to smart carp in the week they don't do a coat unfortunately.

Have a look at Military 1st website. Am sure they do some big old sizes.

The other site mentioned on that thread - Carpclothinguk - seem to only go to 3xl
I'll check my recent jacket purchase from a military site as it's big (I'm about 54-56 chest) and fits nicely with space for a jumper underneath and there was a bigger size too

No idea on warmth but big sizes Here
Now out of stock but I got one of these and it's fairly big in 5XL, they have 4XL though - French Army

These do made to measure clothing. Not sure if they do what you're looking for, but they do have a very good reputation. Might be worth a phone call.

There used to be an army issue 'softy' reversible jacket and trousers with zips nearly the full length. Green or a tan/sand colour, think it was snugpak but cheap as chips. I'm 5'10 and was over 26st and they fitted me
Hopeless in wet weather, but really warm, so if you can find bigger sizes in these it may go nicely under one of those goretex smocks which look neat. I have been looking for a softy for myself but I've not found them go past XXL which is a shame

Have you tried the field sport's shops (gun shops) I got my coat from these outlets I'm not your size but it's brand's like deerhunter and the like

I have the same problems, being bigger than the average guy. Ive recently bought a really good hoody off a company called Smart Carp. they only sell larger sizes and they have a jacket coming out soon im told. Ive bought a few bits of em and theyve all been really decent quality.
lm hoping this jacket will as good as the rest of the gear ive bought. might be worth contacting them ?

ESP 25k Jacket will fit you mate.
I'm usually a 2xl in most clothes and the regular XL in this is massive on me.
Johnson Ross even says on their website that people are changing the sizes as they seem oversized
