Hello men.

I have been using ESP Two Tone in 25lb for years but sadly it has been discontinued and my supply is dwindling so I am after a replacement.

Has anyone found something current that is similar they can recommend?

I used to use the same and have since gone to Fox Camotex semi stiff in 25lb and its perfect

Can thoroughly recommend the ESP Tungsten Loaded in soft & semi stiff, I've not used Two Tone but can't imagine there would be much difference?

As mentioned the ESP tungsten loaded or possibly PB Jellywire would suit, if you like it a bit more subtle I like the Gardner super soft ultra skin not tried their ultra sink but should imagine it is similar to the ESP tungsten

Is that the same as PB Tackle's Jellywire? I have some of that and it isn't stiff enough for what I want.

The atomic tackle version is not very stiff either

I just found a spool of Two Tone 25lb in an old tackle pouch. It's quite similar in stiffness to the ESP X-stiff, but the Two Tone has a smoother coating.

I take it the roughness is the tungsten. Good to have a comparison.
