Not used this but I recently got some plan b with added orange oil / flavour, made for me. Pretty much the same thing. Geoff wouldn't put a bad bait out. But you already know that. I'd use any of his baits with confidence. Some may be better in cold water than others. If in doubt just give him a ring. He won't put you wrong.

My guess is that it's the old Perfection Groundbaits bait of yesteryear. Lovely bait.

ABS roll for PGB, so will be their take on the PGB bait. Great bait tbh, although i found the choc orange slightly too soft and had to get it made with extra egg albumen

Id expect the ABS to be slightly different giving that they roll PGB baits to order.....

Jamie at Carp Junky has done very well on the ABS Choc Orange this last 12-18 months

Fwiw I used to laugh my tits off at fishing bait flavours until I started keeping Koi. They'll seriously eat pretty much anything you chuck in the pond and are particularly partial to oranges, watermelon and sweetcorn.
Strangly enough, the only thing they're not fussed about are boilies and I've tried a few different types. They'll have a play then spit them out and come back up for the pellets. I suspect if that was the only thing I threw in there they'd eat them eventually but I never get the reaction I anticipate.
Note to self, try some tigers
