I had friends who lived in NYC, i visited in the mid 90's and went up to the top of one of the towers, i still find the footage shocking and disturbing, a very sad event in human history

The 9/11 Memorial Museum is very moving. The screens show the panic to get planes out of the sky.

I visited the towers site in 2013. For a city that never sleeps, the whole place just seemed extremely quite. A memory that will stay with me forever!

I was on a plane myself at exactly the same time as it happened
I'll never forget it..especially those poor souls jumping ..awful..!!
(I know of someone who dedicated many yrs of their retirement studying what happened that day..)..he wouldn't tell what he'd learnt ..cept one word..which was 'opposite'...never understood that ...he's passed now ,ex London CID....

Just watched the 6 part documentry 9/11 one day in america. Still dosent seem real watching the planes hit even 20 years on. The definition of a hero those fire fighters mind, very moving 😢

I'm half way through ‘Turning Point, 9/11 & the war on terror' on Netflix. That too is incredible. Like us all I remember the day vividly, but this shows a lot more of what happened on the day from survivors. Then moves onto to why it happened, and then what came after with the gulf war.
6 parts. It's been really good the first three I've watched so far.
