Please recommend me a coated braid stripper,..much cheaper than the dentist..!!

Nash one has 3 size options on one stripper. I have one, a korda one and a fox pulla/stripper tool in one and the nash is easiest to use

Interestingly, my son,has just informed me that on the spool of the coated braid I use which is fox coretex,there is a slot,I'm told this slot is for stripping back the braid..
I mean,I never knew that,I tried it and it works,
Everyday is a skool day ,eh..!

I just realized that I only clicked on this thread because there was the word stripper in the title. Now I'm a bit disappointed 
By the way I use the Gardner Peel and Pull stripper tool. It does the job, but being small and dark green it is a pain to find in my tackle pouch. These kind of tools need too have a bright color and have a reasonable size so they are easy to find when you need them.

The Taska one's good, if you can get hold of it anywhere. Ued to use the Korda one, but the blades always bend.

Need to pull the braid the other way, then the blades press against the the actual tool and dont bend

I got one of the cheap copies off Ebay same as the Korda one for about £2 a few years ago and it works perfect. Or did Korda copy these cheap braid strippers?
Any tool etc that is a dark colour, ie green, black etc, I wrap some fluro hi viz tape around the handle and it makes them easier to find. Nothing worse than losing a barbed baiting needle on your bed. Sometimes I cover the fluro tape with shrinktube and makes it look a bit more professional.

I love my little Ace strip tool,bright colour,easy to hold and never damaged any of the inner material I have stripped.It will be Carp Spirit now,I think it was only about five pound and takes up no room at all in my tacklebox
