Hi,
Has anybody had success getting a reply or through on the phone to Nash?
I've an issue with my power barrow and tried calling, the number never connects.
Emailed and also filled the online form out to report an issue.
Nothing back on either.
Appreciate its holiday period etc but what's the issue with the phone line?
Thanks

Phoned a few weeks ago and Nash himself was on the other end. I've never had a problem. Everytime I have phoned I've got straight through. Have you checked the number ?

If you eventually get through can you ask them to contact me about my Titan Bivvy seams coming undone which I spoke to them about in 1993 but they never replied or did anything
It's coming up to 20 years next year which is a hell of a long time waiting.

Always found Nash extremely helpful....try contacting them through their Instagram account, they respond very quickly.
Having said that, if your barrow is under 12m old you should be going back to the shop it was purchased from.

I had a power barrow issue (under warranty) recently . . .rang Nash and logged the issue, who directed me to the retailer (Angling Direct). Sent them an email, they dealt with Nash on my behalf and the new faulty part arrived on the doorstep the next day . . .!

Sales under warranty or guarantee should be dealt with by the retailer. I.e YOU contact the retailer, the retailer contacts the manufacturer.
You have the right if not fit for purpose, broken or faulty to get your money back, the goods replaced.
On a side note, years ago I had to contact Nash Tackle after a rucksack I purchased from the tackle shop split within 6months of purchase. It was not overloaded. The tackle shop had closed down after takeover and I had moved address from Norwich to Ipswich. The Nash tackle service was appalling, despite regular phone calls and letters for updates, few of which were answered it took months to replace the rucksack.
In the end I 'exposed' the issue and wrote to CarpWorld explaining the situation, within a week after getting a confirmation letter of receipt from CarpWorld, the rucksack was replaced by Nash Tackle.
I leave you to draw your own conclusions...

With all the major players on social media, the last thing they want or to see is a deluge of complaints about a product...the ridge monkey stove is an example. No publicity spreads as fast as negative publicity.
Also as Nick states when you buy something from a shop, you enter a contract with them. The goods must be of merchantable quality and fit for purpose. Outside the usual warranty period, approach the retailer and then if no help, message the manufacturer.

I had really good aftersales service with Nash when the bars on my Sleep System bent they sent me a new set
BUT
after I bought 2 pots of mixed colour pop ups I phoned and complained as there were only a total of 4 pink between the 2 pots ?
they said they would sell me a pot with equal amounts of colours but wanted £5 postage
which I thought was a proper piss take considering I had all ready spent out on 2 pots so in reality with a 3rd pot and postage the pink pop ups would have cost me around £2 each !!!!

I use to have problems with Nash, 20+ years back. But in all fairness to them Im happy to sing Thier praises now. I bought a couple floater packs and no little bags of hookbaits. Quick email and two days later I had to pots of hookbaits on the mat.
I bought a T1 of eBay store, came with broken zip, a quick phone call and they couldn't do more to help.
I then bought the over wrap but for some reason it was way to big, even though it was in the T1 bag. I was asked to send them ther one I bought. This was in the first lockdown. It took a couple of calls to get anyone to see the state of play but when they were up and running again, as promised, a new replacement was sent.
So, a Leopold can't change his spots, in this case, Nash has done.
