generally very hot, watch out for the mistral winds, that hit without warning. An amazing lake though

So true! We visited once in August and every carpark resembled a caravan / camper park. Never again! But.., if you're willing to boat off, you'll find loads and loads of very quiet bays to fish. Look for weed beds... or try up towards the barrage. Andy Little Point - in front of the Church - is,strategically, good & the weed beds to the right often hold fish.

Best of luck mate, I went in May in 1995 and it snowed! but Salagou is a nice place to fish. Dont let the hot weather put you off best trip I had to Cassien in the late 80's was in August very hot with tourists and locals all over the place but I caught!

Be Lucky
