What are your predictions of things we will see within the next year of carp fishing.
1. Anglers sponsored by companies outside of fishing. I.e joe bloggs sponcored by monster Energy drink, Nike, or screwfix.
2. Aerospace grade hooks. £20 packs of hooks made from exotic metals, titanium, inconel etc, claiming to hold a sharp point longer.
3. colourful rod blanks.
4. Baiting poles banned on many lakes.

Tubs of Pop-Ups at £40 plus.....oh....wait..... 
Seriously though I reckon you could be right on baiting poles as fisheries lose tethered fish....no different to a baitboat really in those circumstances yet they are considered cheating!

I hope so mate, the way it's going on most open access waters just isn't viable. It's bloody awful.

Im suprised many day tickets havent offered tackle rental. Rods reels and bivvy all set up in the swim for when you get there, already clipped up at the right amount of wraps. Just bring your own crate of strongbow dark fruits.
A hike in syndicate prices!

Syndicates have been just as bad mate, couldn't get a swim on mine last Wednesday......good job I phoned ahead.

Underwater cameras on all the popular spots on day ticket lakes.
Tackle that is strong enough to stop great white sharks let alone carp.
Prices going up and up to cover for all the sponsored anglers

Underwater cameras is right, with the choice of baitboats available today it will be the next "edge"
Maybe even torpedo your boilies onto your chosen clear spot that you can actually see real-time.
With drones,boats and submarines it's like going to bloody war.I fear for fishings future as I know it.

I dread to think.
Its all become a far cry from what angling should be or was.
Appreciate times change, but todays modern carp fishing is sickening at times...is that down to social media platforms that provide a wider audience for mass advertising and bitching?
i dont know, all i know, ive all but given it up these days simply because i hate the way our hobby has headed.
i will continue to look after and nuture the lake i run, it will never become commercial and members are cherry picked.
the future will be fishing behind fenced, hicked prices, full of poxy "team members" and "promo" fools fishing for likes on facebook

Ali Hamidi running a new cutting edge carp consultancy called ADROK . . .

I used to hate the way carp fishing was going. Untill i realised i only saw the things i didnt like on social media. Once i ditched that, i realised carp fishing for me hasnt really changed at all.
