I'm looking for a mainline to replace my beloved technium black in 12lb, The reels I use are daiwa emcast 25a, i fish lakes with some snags in and fish to 30lb so needs to be relatively strong, I've used esp syncro in 15lb and gr60 in 15lb abs the coiling on the spool is horrendous, I didn't get this at all with the technium, what 12lb or 0.35 line would you recommend for strength and suppleness ? Technium is 0.33 in 12lb

Gr60 in 15lb is like tow rope compared to 12lb (0.33) Technium. You need to decide on diameter needed not stated b.s.

Yes I know but it's also the strongest line I've used, that's why I put 0.35 as I cant imagine anything of the same diameter being as strong, I pulled half a pallet out of my local park lake with it 😂 if there is anything as strong at 0.33 then that would be fine too guys 👍

why not stick with Technium or try Invisitec?

It's been discontinued mate, can't get hold of it anywhere or I'd still be using it 👍 as for invistec I've read some very bad reviews so don't fancy it.

Have a look at esp synchro xt 15lb. Or possibly 12lb if distance is needed. Strong line for the diameter. Not really a distance casting line but may be what you need. Thick line on small reels is always going to coil. Keeping the line wet helps a lot. Wet line is much more supple.

I have cm90 in 12lb on okuma inceptions and love it, in hindsight I would have gone for the 15lb due to fishery rules but what bailiffs check line diameter

Esp syncro in 12lb, I spooled up 2 old school gt baitrunners with it last month, and it's softened up and behaved v well.

Gardner pro light. I've got it on my ss1000 it's remained supple and twist free.
