After finding a bent eye on one of my rods at the start of my session this week I'm wondering what rod holdalls people are using?

I currently have a 3 up 3 down padded type holdall with side pocket for a landing net and smaller pocket for bank sticks.

However this thing weighs a ton, which ive put up with thinking it was keeping everything nice and safe from damage. However now that i know its not i want to get something lighter.

Currently fishing a two rod water, but ideally want something that will carry 3 rods + a spod rod & net

Any recommendations welcome

As I always keep my rods set up, I use a quiver mate. But because my son goes with me, it's quite a large one as it takes 3+3 rods and a spod rod & reel. Not sure what make it is tbh, but it was only cheap. Had it a fair few years and the bottom is starting to go a bit, so I have a Trakker replacement which I haven't used yet as I'll wait until the bottom is totally knackered. The Trakker one wasn't dear either, think is was under £30.

I'm using a trakker 3 up 2 down compact 2 rods 50mm rings with big pits the others 40mm with 5500 size reels they stay really tight together but with enough padding to protect...and clever placement of a bottom handle for in and out the van or on the barrow.. it a great balance no issues so far .. I was using a trakker 3 rod before again no issues

Another sonik here.
Not had it long but seems well thought out.
3 rods internally, then lots of pockets, sockets, ties and straps so you can carry more rods or other things externally.
Last trip I carried 4 rods, umbrella, 2 nets + handles, several bank sticks / spikes and still more room. Straps around the lot and it ends up a compact and neat package.
Definitely worth a look.

I've had,like many of us ,a fair few rod hold alls from Nash creeks to single sleeves,and big fox rod bags..all did a job,but I was never happy,I knew there was something that could suit me and my minimalist ideals..

Some places only allow two rods,sometimes that's more than enough,but I like to use a third on my club,or my quiet places..

Best I have used thus far,and for me it has to be reel first entry,not rod first entry..is the Nash double sleeve and the single attached sleeve if you want to use three rods..

Its the best alround system I have found,if you knew how fussy I am,so its good,lightweight and I've had it five years,used a lot..

The thinking anglers elasticated sleeves and quiver are very good. With the sleeves having the elasticated section, it removes the need for tip tops to stop rods knocking about. They have enough padding, and are light. Easily fit 50mm rings, with extra room, which a lot dont. Can be used with the quiver or tied together with a landing net handle for going really light. The sleeves clip together aswell.
I have 7 of the sleeves now, 3 each for 2 sets of rods, and an extra one for my spod marker rod. Pretty reasonable price wise aswell. Definitely worth a look
