Can anybody recommend a well run day ticket water, not after monsters, big twenties will be great.
Just fed up with stoners, bait boats passing my rod tips and poor angling.
Anywhere around Peterborough, Cambridge, Norfolk, Huntingdon, even further is not a problem.
Not worried how much either, in fact the more expensive the better

Suffolk Water Park in Blakenham/Bramford on the B1113 just outside Ipswich.
They have a facebook page and a decent website with all prices on, but it is around £20 a night, £10 for the day.

Stanwick lakes near Irthlingborough worth a trip. Can get busy but not a bad place to angle at all plenty of the stamp of fish you're looking for.

Depends on what you class Cambridge mate.
I normally go to Hilton Valley just being on the border of cambs/Essex/Suffolk.
It takes me about 35 minutes so I'd say 40ish from Cambridge city centre.
Norfolk haven't had much joy been trying to find things around Thetford way myself but seem to be syndi lakes which a huge waiting list

Manor farm just off the A1 near Biggleswade, about 30 mins or so from Cambridge, several lakes, mostly moderate easyish, but absolutely rammed last summer. Book on line.

Can book one of the lakes (winters) as an exclusive if you really don't want to mix with the dregs of society

Bishops Bowl in Warwickshire - well run dayticket with a variety of lakes to have a go at. Main 20plus acre carp lake is SSSI and an old quarry which makes for interesting fishing . . .some lumps to mid 30's - not hard would class it as medium . . .also has a 'Monument' style lake (7acres) with some decent fish and a 5acre runs water . . .
Shaun the owner is a top bloke and will put you on fish - both he and his sister Treez who runs it day to day don't suffer any eedjits which makes for a pleasurable day ticket experience . . .
