I agree with Danny, no such rod exists. You have to sacrifice one or the other. All the people that say there 3.75 tc rods are nice to play fish on have never used a true through actioned rod. I remember watcing fairbrass playing a fish on his 3.75lb infinitys and saying how nice they were to play fish on and only the last 12” of the tip was slightly bent and that was a 50lb carp.

Not through action obviously but the 13ft ballista is the best you will get,in my opinion, you can fish it 20yards with no hook pull or mouth damage it has a nice action and it will whack a bait out a long way.

I fancy a set of 13ft ballista s i just need to find a rod builder with an eye for detail.

I'll have a look mate. under normal circumstances I'd of looked in person.The problem I've had is I've used 2 builders that were recommended on here over time and tbh they weren't good and that's putting it politely.
