Has anyone ordered anything from Protackleshop.co.uk? The prices seem really cheap so it sets alarm bells off.

Haven't bought anything from them, but I think they have a shop on ebay, fishing-mart-com. They're in Poland hence the carp tax is much lower there. They have 100% positive feedback, with > 3000 ratings, so not too bad.
There's a few more European sellers that are cheap, some of which I have used, and are fine. Hiki, Askari, Angelsport, etc.

Hi, seen fair few peeps buy off them with good service. I've just sent for 2 reels for my Pike & Barbel Rods, Okuma Aventa 6000 at bargain price. Take into account shipping fees(you can calculate at check out), £18 odd P & P for 2 reels, around £16 for one, OTOH Fedex.

As said there Fishing Mart on eBay, seen loads buy from there, there big on Lure Fishing.

Old thread but I've used them, mainly for Pike lures, fly lines etc, always excellent service.

Just to share an experience I had using this company lately.
Ordered 2 reels, one from here one from fishdeal.
Had to return the one from Protackle and it was an absolute ballache.
Thier website is in polish and the UK version is so hard to understand and they must have used a translating service for the returns + t&c's etc and it's all broken English and pretty complicated to understand the process.
Emailed them a couple of times but got ignored, took 4 emails and a couple of weeks for a reply.
Sent the item back, followed thier instructions but it still ended up in customs for well over 2 months. Trying to get any updates from them was like pulling teeth, and even after the item had finally been delivered to them it took several emails and some chasing to finally get a refund.
I'm sure if all goes well with delivery etc and you keep the item then it's no issue but I would never use them again as much due to the lack of contact as anything else.
Fishdeal however were great to deal with, have an easy and clear returns policy in English, and have a set return fee of something like £6 I think it was, where as pro tackle was £15 for a small multiplyer
