Hi, I recently purchased a 6ft sonik xtractor for stalking purposes and just wondering if this reel is suitable for a 6ft rod? Been told its a good reel for larger stalking rods, unless theres something similar in a price range up to about £70ish which would do the job

The Inc 6000 is recommended on numerous forums...

These reels are a perfect compact size but still hold a decent amount of line. Add in the bonus of quick drag, a slick matt black finish, and stainless spool and you're got yourself a super sexy setup when pairing these with Xtractor rods.
Someone on here posted a link up for Bobco selling them cheap a month or so ago and they were snapped up within a day.

I second that.
Daiwa gs4000's would be my choice with that rod, I've got 5500 ci4 Ultegras on my 10ft 3lb scopeS atm and think they are too big for my liking and will be changing to GS4000's when I can justify spending the money.

Great reels for 10ft rods just the right size I paid £80 for the pair what a steal loads better than the fox fx9.Clutch and line lay spot on well happy with them.

I have FX9;s aswell as the INC6000 and i think the FX9s are nice reel ... but too big for 10ft imo
