Sent a couple of alarms off to these guys for repair last Tuesday.
Neville with broken battery holder and usual cracked case. Att that was just not working at all.
Both arrived by special delivery back to me today repaired, re-cased and re-sealed. Stayed in contact with me via FB messenger the whole time.
Pleasure to deal with.

Nice to hear, i on the other hand have been on the parsons/kudos waiting list for two and a half years with very little correspondence.

Sure I read somewhere that the production had stopped on the kudos parsons. Like you I've not heard anything from kudos and I'm on the waiting list.

Would you be so kind and explain the Reason for a two year waiting list on the Kudos/parsons thing.

No idea mate. I went on the waiting list as soon as it was announced that they had the rights to build new parsons with any spec but only a limited number. My details were taken and assured that i wouldn't have long to wait. That was 2/3 yrs ago.....although i did hear on the grapevine that they stopped making them, no idea why because i gather the waiting list was full and they could sell all that they were allowed to build.

I had my Nevilles recased and converted to remotes earlier in the year. It did take a while as I think they had problems sourcing the remote backs during lockdown but the end result was worth waiting for and they are like new.

Sent a message this morning, this was the response:
''Yes, we have and still will be making the kudos/parson remakes - The project had a lot of interest and we were keeping these to a limited item, those people that emailed in their interest right at the start, were put on a waiting list for a set built to their individual preferences - infact we had so much interest, we had a 2nd waiting list (with no guarantee of being accepted for a set) but we closed this off within a couple of months as we didn't feel it was fair to add too many people to this list. There was never a time limit given to anyone regarding when these would be made, just stated as soon as we are able, we will contact (via the list in date order to keep as fair as possible) for spec, etc for making - at present the waiting list is around 40% complete, however as this was on a hand made project basis, other orders do take priority over our time, hence why no more have yet been contacted or made, we were hoping to get time back on these this year as we have stock piled all components and materials in preparation for board making, case machining, etc but as this year has been shall we say "unpredictable" to say the least, we have found ourselves priotizing our times around orders and keeping safe. We would put up a post regarding these but unfortunately all this does is attract more people that we just simply have to turn away. We will contact people as soon as we are able to get time on these again (in reflection we will email those on the waiting and allow them the opportunity to either be removed or stay on)''
