I've got a set of 10ft scopes, would like a spod rod and marker rod with the same pack down size.
Are the dwarf 4.5's adequate Or is there much difference between them and the scopes? Massive price difference but being a spod rod all it needs to do is be able to hit the distances.
Have seen also Sonik xtractor 4.5 if by any chance they are worth a mention.

The tackle box cfx spod 10 ft is a great bit of kit. Best money I've spent in ages. So so accurate up to 75 yards.

Another 👍 for the 10ft tackle box CFX. Last year in France I was putting a medium spomb a smidge over 100 yards with fair accuracy, and I'm not the greatest caster. I actually sold my 12ft spod rod as it is so versatile now that I have the confidence to give it the welly.

The CFX rod you are recommending is it the £135 one or the £55 one?
It's a big jump in price and I assume in performance too.

It's the £135 one that is the CFX... The £55 one is the Darent Valley. The DV is a great rod for the money, the normal DV rods are far more through action than the CFX. The DV S&M rod is a great bit of kit for the money....
But the CFX S&M is an altogether different bit of kit, as are the normal rods. I can easily put a large spomb over 100 yards with the 10ft version. With a bit of effort effort, I can hit the clip at 120.
The CFX blank is as good as you will get. For the money it is absolutely incredible value.

I have a dwarf spod rod, 25lb spectra braid with a 50lb armakord leader, with a dot spod I can hit just over 100 yards. That's with a fair bit of effort on my part too so doubt I'd want to out 20+ at that range
